Lulu Mall in Lucknow represents one of the largest retail complexes in northern India, necessitating robust and energy-efficient electrical infrastructure. Techmech NM was engaged to design and execute an integrated electrical distribution and lighting automation system tailored to large-scale commercial use. The deployment included smart lighting controls linked to occupancy sensors and daylight harvesting techniques to minimize energy consumption without compromising customer comfort. Advanced busduct systems ensured reliable power distribution across the mall’s extensive footprint, including multiple retail zones, food courts, and entertainment areas.
Beyond energy efficiency, safety and scalability were key focus areas in the Lulu Mall project. Techmech NM integrated fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and power backup arrangements compliant with international standards. The modular design allowed phased expansion and maintenance without disrupting mall operations. Additionally, the centralized Building Management System enabled facility managers to monitor energy metrics and operational parameters in real time, facilitating predictive maintenance and enhancing asset longevity. This project highlights Techmech NM’s ability to deliver customized solutions for complex retail environments with stringent uptime requirements.
