Prosumers Lab in Bangalore is a pioneering initiative focused on research and development in distributed energy resources and smart grid technologies. Techmech NM contributed to this project by designing and implementing an advanced electrical distribution and control system that supports seamless integration of renewable energy sources with intelligent energy management. The infrastructure incorporated IoT-enabled sensors and automated lighting controls to optimize energy consumption and provide real-time analytics, aligning with the lab’s sustainable energy goals and research needs. The modular setup enables flexible expansion and integration of new technologies, fostering innovation in the energy prosumer ecosystem.
The electrical systems at Prosumers Lab were designed with scalability and robustness in mind, supporting various testbeds and pilot deployments for microgrids and energy storage. Techmech NM’s role included deploying a state-of-the-art busduct system for efficient power distribution alongside advanced Building Management System (BMS) integration. This allowed granular control and monitoring of electrical loads, reducing wastage and improving operational efficiency.
